April 18th we will be traveling to the Rudy Theatre in Selma, NC.  Sing along and enjoy the music of spring, the message of Easter and the antics of our very own Homer the Easter Bunny.  There’s Easter candy, lots of music and fun for everyone.  After the show you’ll choose from Hinnant Vineyards wine tasting or shopping.  Price includes transportation and show (optional wine tasting).

Camp Info Check In: Friday May 17th from 5:30pm-6pm Instructors will teach fundamentals of passing, setting, serving (over hand), & hitting.  They will also teach situational game play, sliding, positions, 4-2 rotation, base teamwork & importance of pass, set, hit. Camp Instructors are Jennie Sola & Kristine Sola-Bradford. Jennie played 7 years of JO Volleyball (All Region), 4 years at McMichael HS (3 years Varsity, All Conference & Offensive MVP)  & 2 years at RCC.  She coached at WRMS for 4 years, & 16 seasons of Rec & 8 years of JO Volleyball.  Kristine played 7 years of JO Volleyball (4X All Region & MVP), 4 years at McMichael HS (3 years Varsity, All Conference & MVP) played at Greensboro College, coached 2 years at RCC and coach 5 years of JO Volleyball & 15 seasons of Rec Volleyball.

Rules – NSA Rules, 3 Homerun limit (any homerun over the net in LF is an out), 52/275 ball and bats must have 2012 stamp. DATES: JULY 8th – 12th  TIME: 8:30AM – 12:00PM Location: Farris Park Cost: $100 ($10 discount for additional children) Camp Info Camp check in will begin at 8:15am.  Camp check out will be at 12pm.  Camp will be held at the lower soccer fields at Farris Memorial Park.  Participants are required to wear shin guards.  Water will be provide but do encourage participants to bring a water bottle.  We also recommend sunscreen and snack.  Please make sure participants are picked up by no later than 12:15pm. Quinton Hurdle will be running our Soccer Camp.  Quinton is the Head Coach for Caldwell Academy’s Varsity Soccer Team.  Quinton is from Greensboro.  He played college soccer at Greensboro College.  He has coaching experience from youth to college and has run numerous camps.

Since 1989 the Dan River Boat Race has grown into a statewide event. Many paddlers have been racing with us for years, creating a “homecoming” for many.
