Our Madison Mayodan Recreation Choir meets every Wednesday at 9am at the Madison Mayodan Recreation Center.  Our Choir is lead by Faye Webster.  We have a Fall semester ending with a Christmas Concert and a Spring semester ending with an Easter Concert.

We are now registering for Rockingham County Senior Games.  Register by March 18th for the early bird rate of $10.  After the 18th, the deadline to register is March 31st and cost will be $12.  Sr Games includes Individual Sport Events, Tournament Sport Events, Literary Arts, Heritage Arts, Visual Arts & Performing Arts categories.  There is something for everyone, so please sign up, showcase your talents and make Rockingham County proud! Join us Friday, March 18th at 11am for the Sr. Games Kick-Off Party!  This is your opportunity to register for Sr. Games if you have not yet as well as your last chance to get the early bird rate!  Refreshments & finger foods will be served.  If you have already registered you may still attend this event.  Come on out and lets get geared up for the games!

Explore Archery is an Instructor’s Guide to Beginner Archery Programs. The curriculum is developmentally progressive and takes students from simple games to shooting in more complex competitions.  This covers beginners to the more advanced shooters.   Under the instruction of Joseph Smith, Joseph is a qualified US Archery Level 2, 7 time ASA multi State Champion, 2019 Shooter of the Year,  2019 ASA Pro/am National Champion, 2018 Powerade State Games Gold Medalist.  2x NC USA Archery State Championship Silver Medalist. Program will run every Tuesday from 7:00pm-8:00pm at the Madison Mayodan Recreation Center beginning every April 19th.  

Come join us for our DDA Program.  We have food, games, music, fun and more!  Program is free of charge to all DDA participants and volunteers.  All events will be held at the Madison Mayodan Recreation Center.  We will meet the following dates: April 28th (Easter) – 6:30pm-8pm May 26th (Pirates) – 6:30pm-8pm June 30th (Prom) – 6:30pm-8pm July – no meeting August 25th (Luau) – 6:30pm-8pm September 29th (Pajama Night) – 6:30pm-8pm October 27th (Halloween) – 6:30pm-8pm November 17th (Thanksgiving) – 6:30pm-8pm December 8th (Christmas) – 6:30pm-8pm

Tennis Camp will be June 20th-23rd from 8:30am-12:00pm at Western Rockingham Middle School.  This will be open to all boys and girls grades 4th-8th.  All participants will receive a free Tennis Racket.

Women’s Basketball League for ages 16 & older.  Captains Meeting on June 14th at 7:00pm at the Madison Mayodan Recreation Center.  Games will begin week of June 20th.  Games will be played on Mondays & Wednesdays at the Madison Mayodan Recreation Center.

Men’s Softball will begin June 2st and run til the early August.  Games will be on Tuesdays & Thursdays at Jake Atkinson Park.  Captains Meeting on June 14th at 6pm at the Madison Mayodan Recreation Center.

Instructed by Brittany Dodson.  Focus on back handsprings, back tucks, cartwheels, handsprings, round-offs & summersaults.  Session will be 4 week on Fridays in July from 5pm-6pm. Class will be for ages 8-12.

Our Summer Day Camp is for children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade.  They will enjoy field trips, swimming, games, arts & crafts & more!  We will take the first 30 kids to register for each week.  Weeks are as follows: Week 1:  June 19th-23rd – 8:30am-3:00pm Week 2: July 10th-14th – 8:30am-3:00pm

PANNIX VOLLEYBALL CLUB U12 thru U15 – Age Cut Off is July 1st. For the 2023-2024 season, Pannix will support teams for the U12 thru U15 Age Groups. Depending on the amount of overall player interest, each age group may support up to 3 divisions of team participation: Black, Royal & Gold. The 2 levels of play have different tournaments played, club fees, practices per week, amount of travel and associated costs. The Black division represents the highest skill level (zonal team), which will only be offered at the 14U & 15U level, followed by Royal & Gold (Regional) which is offered at the 12U, 13U & 14U level.  All players must try out for the club & based on their skill level may be invited to participate on either a Black, Royal or Gold team.  Players may try out in their age group or above.
